Our team has more than 100 years of combined experience in asset management, and it’s our pleasure to leverage that experience to help you plan wisely and minimize your risk.

Michelle M. Malone

President/Investment Advisor Representative

Michelle is a co-founder of Consilience Asset Management, LLC. She has 20 years of experience in the financial markets industry. Her career began at *Advest, Inc. in 1994, where she wore “many hats” beginning as a client associate. Michelle then advanced to senior financial advisor and earned her professional designations Series 7, 9, 63, and 66. Michelle also co-managed the eight Upstate New York offices. Michelle’s breadth and depth of experience enhances the experience that clients have come to expect from Consilience Asset Management.

She is well-suited to educate clients about their portfolios and foster plans tailored to their goals and objectives. Michelle takes pride in developing close relationships with each of her clients by offering a personalized approach to professional investing. In her free time, she enjoys boating and summers in and around Buffalo.

Roger M. Faulring

Partner/Portfolio Manager

Roger is a co-founder of Consilience Asset Management, LLC. He serves as a managing partner, Investment Strategist, and Senior Portfolio Manager. Roger also authors the firm’s Market Notes.

Prior to founding Consilience Asset Management, he began his career as a Financial Advisor at EF Hutton in 1981, where he earned the designation of Portfolio Manager and was later cited as a Top Money Manager in Barron’s Magazine †. Roger spent 27 years at Merrill Lynch* as a Sr. Vice President and Portfolio Manager. Roger has completed the Securities Industry Institute executive development program at the Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania. His experience and vision led to the development of the Consilience approach to asset and risk management.

Donna M. Stone

Partner/Investment Advisor Representative

Donna is a co-founder and partner of Consilience Asset Management, LLC. She serves as an Investment Advisor Representative.

Donna graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 1971, earning a BA in English and History. She began her financial services career in 1982, attaining Vice President - Investments at Merrill Lynch, and then partnering with Consilience in July 2013.

She believes that the ultimate reward is helping all types of people succeed in reaching their goals via a proper framework and structure for realistic expectations. In addition, her personal passion encompasses the work of Isha Foundation, a global humanitarian organization whose primary goal is helping individuals discover their intrinsic wellbeing.

Susan M. Simpson

Administrative Manager

Sue began her career as a Client Service Associate in 1998 with Advest, Inc.,* where she joined the Consilience Asset Management Team. In addition to client support, she was also intricately involved in the operations of the Upstate New York Complex.

Sue is highly skilled in caring for the needs of our clients and their families, and tending to the day-to-day operational needs of our practice. She enjoys working in the financial services industry and building strong relationships with those she serves.

In her spare time, she enjoys Pilates, spinning, country music, and spending time with family and friends.
